Arturetta's New Apartment

It has been two weeks after she received a large amount of money from the honorable Mayor Susan Watterson and Col. Reginald Malcolm for defeating the elusive giantess Mimete Hanyu. A criminal and a fugitive who is still being hunted down for the alleged kidnapping of Col. Archimedes Richter.

She is still considered by many and close friends rich for being able to receive such rewards and also getting paychecks from Ms Carter added to her bank account which she opened after getting her reward for defeating Mimete. She has been browsing lately to rent a new place where she can live happily. A place with full security and plenty of space and luxury. And the place is the Flammond Estates.

She has signed the documents, papers and all necessary files to complete her purchase. As soon as possible she had moved taken all of her possessions with the help of her senseii and paid some men to move new sets of furniture into her new turf. It was during her days as she moved and bought more and more stuff for her new home her best friends Eris Morgan and Andre are away in the Land of the Dragons… training as usual.

Another week after labor and settlement her new place is all finished. Arturetta has been eager enough to share the news to her comrades. She already told her boss and Liz about her renting a much better apartment. Showed them the pictures she took and they were both impressed of the luxury where she now living.

Trisha: Artie, my dear you have got to let us see your beautiful place.
Liz: (massaging her shoulders) Please partner you must invite us.
Arturetta: Why not come over when I let everyone come over for a tour?
Trisha and Liz: You will? Oh thank you!

She notified mostly a lot of her close friends. There is Mikey, his beloved Rei and Katsumi Haruno, her senseii’s wife Mina and their daughter Minami including Pedro and Samantha. The day has come and everyone is ready outside the Flammond Estates’ entrance. Everyone has gathered and waiting. An orange Porsche driven by Mina arrived just in time.

Mikey: Bro!
Rei: Mina, hi!

They kiss and embrace. Katie is happy enough to see the cute and cuddly Mina jr again as she is given the pleasure of handling her stroller since she is always a trusted ‘nanny’ figure.

Mikey: Bro where’s Artie?
Arthur: She is still at Bound Fantasies. She’s coming with her boss and friend Liz cuz they also want to see Artie’s place.
Rei: Arturetta is so lucky!
Mina: And loaded!

A sky blue Trans Am arrived shortly after a few minutes. Emerging from the vehicle are Andre and Eris Morgan. From the passenger sides were Pedro and Samantha.

Eris: Looks like the lovely couples have arrived before us.
Arthur: Eris, hi!
Andre: What’s up, y’all?
Arthur: (looks up) Well all I can see is the sign of the Flammond estates, a large perspective of the whole building and some clouds as well as the blue sky.

Everyone shows a sweat drop after he responded.

Pedro: (laughing) Arthur you really know how to amuse us.
Samantha: I thought at first he would say everything is okay.
Arthur: We are waiting for Arturetta as well as Ms Carter and Liz Johnson.

Arturetta’s Ford Fiesta approaches and pulls over at the parking lot.

Arthur: Speaking of which… here they come.

From the vehicle Arturetta comes out first followed by Trisha emerging from the front seat. Liz exits the car as well.

Arturetta: Hello everyone, sorry we took a bit long. My boss sort of had to leave someone in charge and they needed to change to their regular attire as they want to see my new apartment with their own eyes.
Trisha: She told us she lives in a more elegant and luxurious apartment. I can’t wait to see it her place.
Liz: Same here.

Artie is followed by everyone, leading them to the large elevator going to the 10th floor. A passing guard in the hallway greets her and the guests as she takes out a key to open her front door.

Arturetta: Everyone… welcome to my new humble home.

Everybody all enter with amazement, looking around and disperse to check out many things all around her new place. Katie sits and watches over Mina Jr at the couch. Mikey and Rei look around and observe all the shelves with all of Artie’s pictures.

Andre: Arturetta you sure spent your rewards wisely by renting this awesome place.
Eric: Your place is much wider than your last apartment. You can almost hold a house party.
Arturetta: You think?

Pedro and Samantha are looking at a strange looking machine in a small room. They are mystified by several devices and in her small gym room where they are facing a large section of mirror at the wall.

Arturetta: Oh, Pedro, Samantha. Looks like you have entered my gym room where I work out.
Pedro: Good to know you like to stay fit and take exercises, Arturetta. What do you call this peculiar machine?
Arturetta: This, Pedro is called a ‘treadmill’. It’s a machine where I take long walks indoors.
Pedro: What does it do?
Arturetta: I turn on the treadmill by pressing the red switch here. (Treadmill beeps) And I set the speed of the moving platform.
Samantha: It’s… moving.
Arturetta: Senseii enjoys all the walking and strolls he does. He usually comes here to have a walk. Observe.

She stops the device and stands over it. Restarts the speed in light mode and begins walking, clad in her work boots.

Arturetta: I even… hehe! Wear my boots or gym shoes when I do this.

While Mina, Rei and Mikey are looking around the kitchen they peek through the cupboard and looking at the silverware and all the utensils. Pots and pans are hung in proper order from small to bigger sizes. The stove is also unique with its dark grills.

Mikey: Oh my gosh…
Rei: What’s wrong, Mikey-hubby?
Mikey: Look at all this junk food. Pringles, Lays… canned tuna, Cheerios.
Mina: She sure has taste and can choose the right food. She sure has plenty of iced tea in her fridge.
Rei: She sure has an awesome bathroom. Can you believe she has her very own bathtub?

Rei, Mikey & Mina: Oooooohhhhh.
Rei: Hubby, come on I also found a spectacular spot in Artie’s place.

Mina goes along with them, looking around for Arthur and follows the couple towards the balcony. She found Mikey and Rei seated on two chairs as they are enjoying the marvelous view of the city.

Mina: What a lovely view! We’re 10 stories up.
Rei: Artie sure can choose. (sigh) It’s like living in a penthouse.

Mina looks around more for Arthur and enters Arturetta’s big bedroom. She sees that the bed is good for a couple with a table lamp at the left. She checks out the ‘walk in closet’ and discovers that Arthur is there with both Liz and Trisha as they watch him admiring a variety of Arturetta’s footwear.

Mina: Arthur?
Liz: Shhhhhh… don’t disturb the master.
Trisha: That’s right honey, we followed him here.
Mina: Oh my goodness… it’s like he died and went to heaven.
Trisha: Artie sure has plenty of leather in this walk in closet. That other section near us is the wardrobe.
Mina: I will need to stay with him and try to calm him down in case he gets out of control over all these boots.
Trisha: I am surprised she doesn’t own a single pair of sandals. She knows how to choose according to BF’s dress code.
Liz: She only has these cotton wool indoor slippers.

Rei: There you are! Mina, Arthur, ladies come to the living room. Arturetta is about to show us her mini museum.

Arturetta leads everyone inside another room where she keeps memorable collections she had acquired from her past and present encounters.

Arturetta: Thank you everyone for coming I am pleased to know you accepted my invites to come and see my new apartment. I’m sure that my senseii was of great help setting up and helping me with my mini museum.

Eris: lead the way, Arturetta.

Artie opens the door and leads everyone inside. So many collections of things, items and valuable memories she likes to keep. At the wall to their right is a large yellow award that was given by Mayor Watterson… the Key to the City.

Samantha: I know that object.
Eris: Yes. I have one at home.
Arturetta: That is the actual award that Mayor Watterson gave me. Also mounted on the walls are the group photos to remember the awarding ceremony while here is a photo taken as we receive the key.
Eris: Awesome… look at all the framed newspaper headlines, clippings and photos.
Arturetta: Senseii kind of suggested it to remember that incident when I grew into a giantess. So he gave me a newspaper he bought about my ordeal in the park and we framed all of them.

Eris: Sure brings back memories. I can’t believe they had that in the papers.
Rei: Oh yes… that’s right. Artie we can also share the selfies we took when we visited you in the park.
Arturetta: Thanks. It will make a good addition.
Mikey: Look over there… lots of medals.

Arturetta: That’s right dear. Those are my medals from the police department, certificates of recognition and a lot of framed awards. And on the left below are the medals from the awarding ceremony. There’s my Medal of Honor and the Distinguished Silver Star.

Trisha: Oh Artie you truly are a model employee. You also have a lot of memorabilia from Bound Fantasies which makes me so proud of you.
Liz: likewise, partner.

They move on to another part of the room. Trisha is very flattered that Artie has a large collection that she allowed her to keep.

Trisha: Go on, hun. I’ll back you up.
Arturetta: (giggling) Here… haha… are photos taken by one of Ms Carter’s employees as I hogtied by senseii hands during a demonstration.
Trisha: It brings back memories. And those are the very same nylon cords he used to bind you up.
Arturetta: (blushes) Yes, ma’am.

Nearby Mikey and Rei are looking at something that is also special for Arturetta. They look at a framed certificate of her success from driving school. Below under a glass case is a notepad that Rei recognizes.

Rei: Look at that, love. It’s Artie’s notebook.
Mikey: She wrote on that when we were teaching her driving lessons.
Rei: I’m glad she kept that.
Mina: look at this everyone. It’s a pair of cowgirl boots and they look …old.
Arthur: Those, sweetheart are Arturetta’s first pair of boots she ever wore and owned when she was young. Her uncle bought those for her when she wanted to ride horses. She doesn’t wear it any longer but instead keeps it in her treasure trove.
Eris: She was glad that Petirol decided to return them.

Pedro: She is a remarkable woman. She kept so many items that serve as her treasures and memories.

After minutes of seeing much of her apartment everyone is treated to glasses of iced tea and other beverages. Rei comes upon a small empty room with a small bed. Curious she goes over to Artie in her kitchen as she is preparing another pitcher with Eris at her assistance.

Rei: Hey, Artie. We all saw your room, your gym and your exhibit room as well as the bathroom… what exactly is that small empty bedroom for?
Arturetta: Oh… that, girl friend is my guest room.
Eris: Guest room? Is it for people or a friend wanting to stay with you?
Arturetta: Actually. It’s for my sis Samantha in case she comes back to visit me.
Eris: Oh… yeah.
Arturetta: I know she had to turn over her pad where she and I used to stay. I have that one ready for her.
Eris: Good idea. Do you miss her?
Arturetta: We usually stay in touch through video chat, text and calls. We talk when she calls.

As the day go on nicely after the tour of her new luxurious apartment everyone say goodbyes to each other. Pedro and Samantha all get in to Eris’s sky blue Trans Am so they can open a dimensional rift back to the Land of the Dragons. Mikey and his wife Rei also go along as Katie says goodbye to Mina Jr before getting in to the Rei’s fiery red GT-R. Mina stays for a bit long as Arthur remained.

Arthur: I have to admit. Your apartment is awesome and really brilliant.
Arturetta: Thanks senseii. I’m pleased that everyone came.
Mina: So… you’re going back to work?
Arturetta: As usual. I’m driving us all back to Bound Fantasies.
Arthur: The whole building is completely tall and a lot of people who are fully loaded with money are living here.
Trisha: Arturetta can really invest all her savings and bought a nice place for herself. I have to admit you were admiring all her boots in her walk in closet.
Liz: I saw it too, master.

The group all bid farewell to each other. Trisha and Liz get inside Artie’s Ford Fiesta and return to Bound Fantasies. Arthur is hearing compliments from Mina and is concerned for seeing him admiring all of Arturetta’s leather footwear. As she is showing a frown while pushing their daughter’s stroller, Arthur ensures her that he still has some money that his apprentice shared.

Mina: Good… buy me some good pairs you will truly admire.
Arthur: Anything for my darling wife.
